Preparation and ingredients are key. This sauce was a staple of the Emmett household growing up and will forever continue to be. Envied worldwide.


1/2 cup olive oil
18 cup ripe tomatoes, chopped
(8) 28 oz cans Italian plum tomatoes, crushed
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1 cup dry white wine
2 cup chicken broth/stock
2 tsp rosemary (fresh)
4 clove garlic
1 whole yelllow onion
12 tbsp butter

Combine all.
Simmer with lid off for 2 hours.
