Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao)

Drunken noodles don't actually have alcohol in it, but because of the chilies, one is inclined to continuously drink whatever beverage is near by, which if alcoholic, can lead to a drunk eater.


1 pkg Wide Rice Stick Noodles or Rice Flakes
6 clove Garlic (YES!!)
1/4 cup Fresh Thai Chilies or (1/2 bottle of Mae Ploy Sauce)
1 lb(s) Ground Chicken
1/8 cup Fish Sauce
1/4 cup Dark Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Golden Mountain Sauce (available at your oriental mrkt)
1 tbsp Sugar
4 whole Plum Tomatoes (wedged)
2 whole Bell Peppers
1/2 cup Thai Basil

Soak rice noodles as instructed on label (what you can't read Thai?) Seriously though, soak for a bout 2-3 hours.
Drain thoroughly, dry with paper towel.
Heat Wok to high.
Chop garlic and chilies and saute for 30 sec.
Add chicken, fish sauce, soy, Golden Mountain sauce, and sugar.
Cook until chicken is cooked through (approx 4 min) Add Rice Noodles, Tomato wedges and cut green peppers and toss to coat and soften alittle.
Transfer to Plate and serve.
